The Customer Service Representative processes orders for merchandise received by mail, telephone, fax, email or personally from customer or company employee by performing the duties listed below:

- Receive orders via phone, fax, mail, electronic data intercharge (EDI), and company website.
- Edit orders received for price and discrepancies.
- Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
- Record or file copies of orders received.
- Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
- Monitor specific accounts or requests to ensure they are accurate with regards to quantity shipped.
- Receive and investigate customer complaints.
- Confer with production, shipping, warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or track missing or delayed shipments.
- Make calls to certain customers to follow up about future orders.
- Work with clients/consumers to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow FTZ procedures - wear security badges, keep doors closed and locked, etc.
- Outbound calling to contact under performing customers.
- All other duties as assigned.
