So, what is the Safety Coordinator III responsible for?
 

• This position will coordinate the implementation of key safety programs through direct interaction with clients
  • Perform onsite safety inspections, determine probable causes, work with Safety Manager to make recommendations for corrective action and follow up with clients to ensure measures have been implemented
  • Support Risk Department with information regarding clients' lost-time injuries/illnesses and worker's compensation claims 
  • Conduct OSHA trainings for clients in both the construction and general industries
  • Assist Safety Manager with training of any new members to the team
  • Perform all others duties as assigned

What are some Qualifications?

• Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required and 8+ years related safety experience preferred; or equivalent combination of both
• Certifications
  • AED/CPR-American Heart Association Certification preferred
  • Certification as an OSHA Authorized Trainer for both Construction and General Industries required
  • Must be a certified PIT trainer
• Other
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time; overnight stays may be necessary
