Group Management Services (GMS) is seeking to hire a full time Benefits Claims Examiner in the Richfield, OH office.

SUMMARY:

The Benefits Claims Examiner is responsible for analyzing and correctly adjudicating claims for GMS TPA operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Examine, process, and adjudicate claims for medical, dental, and prescriptions 
• Resolve issues and identify customer needs (call on issues if missing information or additional info is needed)
• Investigate all code review output for a claim and correctly process according to set procedures
• Process 80 medical claims per day, at a minimum
• Maintain 99.7% of claim efficiency
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

• Education/Experience - High School diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required; Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
