Program Manager

Environmental Health Watch is currently seeking a full-time Program Manager. In this role, you will work with the Director, organizational staff, Coalition partners and multiple stakeholders across sectors in devising and executing strategic plans and programming of the Lead Safe Resource Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect data and prepare timely reports as needed
  • Coordinate, maintain and develop relationships with existing and new partners
  • Attend necessary LSCC committee meetings and funder meetings
  • Respond to media, community requests
  • Create and develop strategic long-term goals, operating, budget and sustainability planning in partnership with LSCC leadership and resource committee
  • Develop an evaluation method to identify and evaluate program strengths and areas of improvement

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of previous program management experience
  • Understanding of project development and management
  • Experience working with diverse populations, stakeholders and multi-sector partnerships
  • Excellent data analysis and writing skills
  • Experience managing teams
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office applications including word, excel, outlook
  • Having bilingual ability and an understanding of housing and environmental health preferred

Hours: Monday-Friday. Some evenings and weekends required

Pay: $55,000-$60,000/year, depending on experience

Environmental Health Watch was formed in the early 1980's by a group of concerned neighbors and health professionals in response to pervasive health hazards in Northeast Ohio homes and communities. We provide education, advocacy, and direct service to families while also working alongside policy makers to spotlight and confront critical environmental health issues. Environmental Health Watch serves as the Administrator for the Lead Safe Cleveland Resource Center, the execution arm of the Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition, an inclusive, public-private partnership founded to address lead poisoning through a comprehensive, preventive, and long-term approach. This approach protects Cleveland’s children by merging smart, adaptable public policies; knowledgeable agencies willing to collaborate; proven community programs and leaders; and public and private sector accountability.
